Hi All

Below is a link for a job with the University of Otago based in Christchurch that may be of interest. It closes in early June.


The Christchurch Health and Development Study is a longitudinal study of a birth cohort of 1,265 children who were born in 1977 who have now been studied to the age of 30 years with current plans to study the cohort to age 35.

A Research Fellow is required who will work on all aspects of this research including the planning and implementation of data collection, statistical analysis, library research and the preparation of scientific papers. Applicants must have: a Ph.D. degree (or equivalent) in the social or health sciences; strong skills in numerical analysis and a good background in the application of multivariate statistical methods; strong skills in written communication; and a previous record of relevant research experience and publications. A familiarity with the principles of Kaupapa Maori research would be advantageous.
