Hi,
The link I sent you on the Laser GRBL website, is to a zip file which not only includes the manual, but the installation instructions and STM windows drivers, they are in the Lasergrbl folder, within Drivers for WindowsOS, I downloaded the file to check and the driver files are called VCP_V1.5.0_setup_
depending which version of Windows you have.
I have not loaded the driver into the system yet, but I assume that this driver will connect and run the software (Lightburn) and the hardware Ortur Master 2. I will give it a shot, I appreciate the assist, I am very new at this, so it is all a bit intimidating right now. And it is true, a picture is worth a thousand words!
Here's the code I'm using. It takes forever between websites, I need it to be fast... Other tools are allowed, but I don't know too many tools for scrapping website content that loads with JavaScript (divs created when some event is triggered on load etc) That's why I need Selenium... BeautifulSoup can't be used for some of my pages.
In order to achieve this you need to ensure that the preferences browser.link.open_newwindow and browser.link.open_newwindow.restriction are properly set. The default values in the last versions are ok, otherwise you supposedly need:
the problem is that those preferences preset to other values and are frozen at least selenium 3.4.0. When you use the profile to set them with the java binding there comes an exception and with the python binding the new values are ignored.
The first two options also did seem to stop working in selenium 3.4.0. They do depend on sending CTRL key event to an element. At first glance it seem that is a problem of the CTRL key, but it is failing because of the new multiprocess feature of Firefox. It might be that this new architecture impose new ways of doing that, or maybe is a temporary implementation problem. Anyway we can disable it via:
While the datatype used for storing the list of handles may be ordered by insertion, the order in which the WebDriver implementation iterates over the window handles to insert them has no requirement to be stable. The ordering is arbitrary.
Using Selenium v3.x opening a website in a New Tab through Python is much easier now. We have to induce an WebDriverWait for number_of_windows_to_be(2) and then collect the window handles every time we open a new tab/window and finally iterate through the window handles and switchTo().window(newly_opened) as required. Here is a solution where you can open in the initial TAB and in the adjacent TAB:
I tried for a very long time to duplicate tabs in Chrome running using action_keys and send_keys on body. The only thing that worked for me was an answer here. This is what my duplicate tabs def ended up looking like, probably not the best but it works fine for me.
Moreover, driver.execute_script("window.open('');") is working but is limited by the popup blocker. I process hundreds of tabs in parallel (web scraping using scrapy). However, the popup blocker became active after opening 20 new tabs using JavaScript's window.open('') and, thus, has broke my crawler.
I was trying to built a very lightweight installer for a tiny W10 PC that has very little disk space (32GB total). The project involves the sbRIO eval kit (sbrio-9637 based) and the labVIEW code uploads a stored sbRIO image (if needed) then interacts with it.
The installation builder correctly selects the "LabVIEW run time" engine and the "system cofiguration run time" automatically. Unfortunately, it fails to include the installer for the NI USB LAN ethernet driver. so when I plug in the USB cable, windows cannot find a driver for it and thus cannot communicate with the sbRIO. There is no ethernet port on that PC and I don't have a generic usb/ethernet dongle, just the special usb cable that came with the eval kit.. Good luck trying to find this driver on the NI website, I could not find it (but we all know that the search tools are not very good!).
I found the driver on the DVD deeply buried inside a folder called NI-USB-LAN (32 and 64bit versions) and if I manually run this installer (MSI), things work afterwards (i.e. windows correctly recognized the adapter when I plug in the special USB cable). I am sure that this driver is probably included in e.g. NI-RIO or some other huge package, but including that would add significantly to the size of the distribution. Why is this driver not listed as a selectable entry under "additional installers"? Maybe I missed something?
Thanks for the link. The USB LAN driver folder contains both the 32 and 64bit versions and seems to work fine when I install it manually. That folder is less than 1.5MB but that driver download is almost 30MB. I guess it comes with a fancy installer.
I just updated my Nvidia driver to the most recent version (537.58), and now Quest link just isn't working at all. Tried uplugging and replugging the link cable, nope. Tried restarting the headset, nope. Anyone else having this problem?
It looks like they won't be able to get the necessary information through here on the forums, but they did want to look into everyone's logs to get a closer look. I highly suggest testing out PTC and if that doesn't work, reaching out through a support ticket so they can gather the logs and provide some more in-depth assistance.
Hey everyone, thank you for reaching out about this issue with your Quest 3 and PC VR. While we do expect to see some bugs during launch week, we'd like to see if everyone has tried the same troubleshooting steps.
I have updated the nvidia 3080 graphics card, updated the PC through settings (windows 11), flashed the motherboard bios to most recent available, checked quest 3 headset, updated USB drivers, and did the developer hint for the previous link issue.
Thank you for getting back with us, @therealcberns. Would you mind testing to see if the air link works for your Quest 3? If so, would you mind letting us know what brand of cable you are using for Link as well? Is it our official cable or a third-party brand? Thank you in advance for your time testing this! If you're still having trouble, send us a private message so we can get into more detail.

It works with airlink. The Quest 3 just will not connect to the PC with a cable.
It is a meta usb c cable. The cable works fine with the Quest 2. Even right this second. It will just never connect to the PC when plugged into the Quest 3. Says the device is not recognized. Like something is wrong with the Quest 3
This is very interesting. Thank you for trying all of these tests. Just to be sure, is this the official Meta Link cable? If you don't mind, please send us a private message, and we'll be able to assist you further!
Quest 3 arrived yesterday. Spent about an hour trying to get it to connect via cable, exhibiting behaviour below with it endlessly looking for PC. It eventually did connect via the cable and I had a brief go at a few games, I don't know that I did anything different to the other times I tried to get it to connect.
Airlink I assumed was working as that connects right away, it says the PC meets the specs and there are all green ticks when you do the diagnostic check. But clicking launch I get 3 dots forever or a black screen. But the main thing I want to work is the link cable.

Hello.Just purchased a new Dell tower and am bummed that my trusty imageCLASS D420 will not work with windows 11(at least i don`t think as i cannot find an 11 driver.Much obliged if anyone knows a way i can get them to communicate.BIG thanx!
Hi Hector - thanks for the reply. I am able now to connect to the printer with a USB cable, but through my wired network. Is there a factory reset procedure so I can reset all of the network features?
Windows 10 drivers do not work for me on a Windows 11 HP Pavilion, installing as a local printer. Printer installs but does not print test page, nor a Word document. Document just stays in print queue.
Addition by JustDon: My problem has been solved. Here is what I think I did wrong. First, I had the printer plugged in to the PC and turned on when I ran setup.exe to install the drivers. Second, I tried to install it in LPT1, the parallel port when it needs a USB port. With the drivers improperly installed, there was no choice of a USB port. Properly installed, a port named USB001 was added to the port list. An aside: I read that some older printers can't run on the new high speed USB ports, but after I installed it in a USB 2.0 port, I moved it to a "super speed" usb port and it worked fine. So yes, the ImageClass D420 can be installed on a Windows 11 PC (mine is a HP Pavillion) using the Windows 10 drivers, as Hector said, but if you don't install them correctly, you may mistakenly conclude it won't work.
I have repeatedly connected my Life Q20 Headphones to Windows using my bluetooth dongle. Windows even recognizes it and connects. However, no sound comes through and the Headphones never show up as an option in the Sound Settings.
I have disconnected and forgotten the headphones, and then re connected them. I have also installed this driver ( -firmware). I have also tried resetting as said on this thread (Cant pair headphones Life Q20 with Windows 10).
None of these things worked. Is there a solution? I have been using the headphones wired through an AUX cable for the past couple of months and they have worked flawlessly, but it is right now with this bluetooth issue that I am facing a problem for the first time.
