I haven't thought too hard about this, but does it make sense to add Erector support to Tilt?

Sure! The last time I looked into Tilt (over a year ago) I ran into
the same kinds of problems we had integrating with Rails: the library
assumes its template files are data, not code, and this pervasive
assumption made it hard to hook in. But there's nothing to say we
couldn't solve that with a little fiddling and/or patching. I think
it's a great idea.
