The creative geniuses behind the giant Double Ducks that took the city by storm in 2023 are back with another exciting event! Having given us a dazzling drone show on May 25, AllRightsReserved (ARR) and Fujiko Pro are teaming up to bring a large-scale Doraemon exhibition to Hong Kong this July. Ready to see the beloved robot cat in action? Then read on because we've got all the info you need right here.

As for the ticketed exhibition at K11 Musea, in light of the high demand from fans to see the show, ARR has announced a final release of tickets in limited quantity for the remaining sessions from July 23 to August 18. Visitors may reserve their preferred date and time slot via Klook, with each person limited to purchasing four tickets per transaction on a first-come, first-served basis. Ticket holders will also receive a limited-edition souvenir upon entry and can also use their admission wristband to queue for the free exhibition area outdoors. Note that here will be no on-site ticket sales.

During the free exhibition period from July 13 to August 11, one-way crowd control measures will be implemented around the Avenue of Stars. Only registered visitors can enter through K11 Musea, while the general public must enter the free zone from the Tsim Sha Tsui East section. Ticket holders are advised to arrive early and allow at least 30 minutes for entry procedures. Make sure to visit doraemon100.com for more details on how you can enter to see the exhibition.

There will also be a special tribute to the Hong Kong film industry, with Doraemon and friends elegantly dressed in formal attire gracing the Avenue of Stars with a star-studded list of 13 names in the local film industry walking across a blue carpet.

Aside from the free zones and ticketed exhibition in Tsim Sha Tsui, Doraemon will also make special appearances around the city from July 9 to August 8 (11.30am-7.30pm), bringing with him 1:1 scale Anywhere Doors to 10 Hong Kong landmarks, including the Hong Kong Museum of Art, The Peak Tower, Kwun Tong Promenade, Cochrane Street, Cent5ral Pier, Chater Garden, West Kowloon Cultural District (Secret Garden, Art Park), Temple Street (Yung Shu Tau), Wan Chai Water Sports and Recreation Precinct, and PMQ (from July 12 onwards).

Fans can find the iconic pink door frames, take photos, and redeem limited souvenirs by sharing their experiences on social media (Facebook, Instagram, or XiaoHongShu) with the hashtags #Doraemon100 and #DiscoverHongKong. Once uploaded, present it to a staff member to redeem a special pin (one social media post) or a yellow Doraemon vase and tote bag (three posts with three different doors). The Anywhere Doors will feature illustrations celebrating Hong Kong's attractions and culture, with Doraemon serving as a guide to both locals and tourists.

There will also be an outdoor exhibition, 100% Doraemon Sculpture Park, showcasing 36 Doraemon sculptures, including 13 movie Doraemon sculptures and 23 special sculptures like the transformation of Sweet Potato Doraemon, Wild Wolf Doraemon, Nobita-and-Doraemon hybrid forms, and many others.

Create your very own Doraemon ID digital avatar! Fans of Doraemon can now personalise their own manga art character with elements like body type, face shape, skin colour, hairstyle, clothing, and more. Ticketed visitors who have created their own Doraemon ID can also unlock interactive experiences and gather six '100% Digital Stamps' at the exhibition.

MTR is collaborating with AllRightsReserved to launch the first-ever Doraemon-themed platform at Siu Hong Light Rail station. There will also be three limited-edition '100% Friends-Calling Bell' trains running on the Light Rail, East Rail Line, and the Airport Express to welcome passengers onboard for a colourful and pleasant journey. Take a look at the video below!

From June 14 to September 1, adorable Doraemon-themed cable cars will shuttle back and forth between Tung Chung and Ngong Ping. Over at the Ngong Ping Village, visitors can have fun at the giant gashapon machine, take snaps with a 'Gian Recital Work Tour' installation, and discover various 1:1 life-sized Doraemon sculptures at different corners of the area.
