Some questions about the Ekman transport data (specifically the x-direction ekman transport data ektrx78)
After downloading the data (erdlasFnWPr_LonPM180_ae12_6375_a521_EkmanTransfer_monthly) and plotting the image using ektrx78 from it, I have the following questions:
1. Why is there also Ekman transport data for the terrestrial part?
2. why is the data missing near the equator?
Help would be appreciated, thanks!
