Hi Rick:

This is not really an ERDDAP question, it is a question about particular datasets. The person who runs that ERDDAP is Hui Chi. (Daisy) at <hui...@noaa.gov>, and according to the metadata those datasets were created by NOAA/NESDIS/STAR Coral Reef Watch Program, creator_email "coralre...@noaa.gov”. Those are the people most likely to be able to help you.

Hi Rick:

I would also mention tat you are downloading images. If the two datasets have different ranges, then the images may vary as to their scaling. The only way to be certain is to download the data in a non-image format and then compare.
