LPS 2010 DTM Extraction using eATE
By szeets in ERDAS Software Forum

When extracting a DTM using eATE, I am outputting to a .ltf format for editing purposes.  Does this format take into account the Classification Settings that I use?  I have the Classification set to remove the vegetation and buildings but it doesn't appear to be removing them when I view the .ltf file in the Terrain Editor.  I have tried many different settings, but it doesn't appear to make a difference.  I went through the eATE guide and the online help, but there isn't a clear answer that I could find.

As a side question, what are some good examples of settings to use in the Strategy Manager for Urban Areas, Agricultural Areas, etc.?

Thanks,

Steve
