We can I download the ECW desktop plugin

I use ArcMap and we have Apollo Advantage installed. I would like to consumer the ECW images directly from ArcMap. I belive the plugin will allow me to do this.

ArcGIS can directly open ECW files without any plugin. ECWP stream coming from Apollo to your ArcGIS is where you need the plugin. That used to be downloadable from http://geospatial.intergraph.com/products/other/ecw/ECWPlugins/Downloads.aspx but at the moment there seems to be just browser plugin.
I know plugin for ArcGIS 10.1 is really near for its release so I excpect that at least appear there soon. I am also bit suprised that all old plugins for ArcGIS 9.x and ArcGIS 10 and other platforms are lost

The ECW plugins for ArcGIS 9.3, 10 and 10.1 are available on www.geospatial.intergraph.com . Use the Resource Tab > Downloads > Previous Versions. Select ERDAS Other and then ECW plugins.
