[ERCA] Construction Advisory East Rockville Sanitary Sewer Improvements

The City’s contractor, Fort Myer Construction Corporation, will replace the sanitary sewer
mains in your neighborhood. Weather permitting, work to replace the sanitary sewer
pipe and manholes will begin in January. The existing sewer is undersized and the City of
Rockville’s Department of Public Works determined that the sewer pipe needs to be
upgraded (See the reverse side of this advisory for a map of the affected area.)

During the sanitary sewer construction, drinking water or sanitary sewer services will not
be interrupted. Access to homes and driveways will not be affected. Impacts during
construction may include temporary road closures, on-street parking restrictions and
construction noise. Signs will be posted to notify motorists and residents of temporary
parking restrictions and lane closures.
