IMDbis centered around titles (e.g. movies, TV series, video games, etc.) and all associated information. A huge part of a titles' production is the Cast & Crew which we list under a section called 'Filmography'

Our aim is to be the most complete and reliable source of movie, TV, and entertainment information on the web - in order to achieve this, we can only accept submissions which are accurate & verifiable at the point of submission.

Step 3

Now on the list of contributable information, find the type of credit you're looking to add and choose from the drop-down the number of those credits you'd like to add.

If you're submitting a Crew credit, you'll have the option to include some more information depending on if the credit type. You'll have the option for either both 'Occupation' and 'Attribute', or just 'Attribute':

Below are the most common questions we hear from users when trying to add a new title to the database - if your question isn't answered here, you can always ask a member of our friendly community over at Sprinklr.

The new credit you submit will need to first be reviewed by a member of the editing team to ensure it's accurate and eligible - for the most part this takes between 12-48 hours, however may take longer.

If you'd like to know the status of your request, you can track your request from your contribution history - alternatively, you can review the list of pending data to get an idea of when we'll get to your item.

To check the status of your request, you can track your request and it should tell you if the request has been rejected, along with a guidance of what to do next to re-submit the request for it to be approved in the future.

If your request is rejected with another reason and you're unable to identify why this might have happened, you can reach out to our friendly community over at Sprinklr who should be able to help out.

Additionally, content must be new and cannot simply consist primarily of footage from another title which is (or could be) listed in IMDb. The exception to this is if the creation of the video displays a level of artistic merit or can be considered of public interest.

This means you'll need to provide enough supporting information with your new title submission to help us confirm the title's in active production or released (if you're submitting an in-development title, we have further information in our separate article).

Because at IMDb we accept all sorts of titles, you'll need to choose the correct type based on the title you're adding. If you're adding a Movie, TV Series, or Video game this should be simple, but for other types such as:

We have millions of titles in the database, and many more are added daily -- it may well be that the title you're adding has already been submitted, you should review the list of suggestions for matching cast.

In the next section you can add all the information associated with the title -- this includes things like cast & crew, release dates, budgets, genres, etc. You don't have to include something in every section; however, there is a minimum requirement before you can submit the new title for review.

If you've clicked re-check these updates and the option to submit your title isn't shown at the bottom of the page, it means there are some errors and/or warnings in your submission that will need your attention.

The new title you submit will need to first be reviewed by a member of the editing team to ensure it's accurate and eligible - for the most part this takes between 12-48 hours, however may take longer.

Sometimes, a title exists and is released in more than one versions; typically this happens when a film premieres at festivals or other limited release and then undergoes changes before wider distribution, or when a film is re-released in an extended version (such as a director's cut, or special edition). This is not uncommon, and we typically document the differences between two or more versions of the same work by adding an entry to the title's Alternative Versions section.

In some rare cases two versions of the same title may differ significantly enough to warrant the creation of two separate title pages. When this happens, the two versions can linked via an entry in the 'Movie Connection' section through the appropriate "version of" connection. This is however a very rare exception that is made only when we determine that two separate title pages are warranted. The decision to create a separate new title page instead of an alternate version entry is exclusively made on a case-by-case basis by our editors.

Unless the new version of a title is significantly and verifiably different from the original one in several of the above areas, we will not create a separate title page, and details the new version should be submitted as an "Alternate Versions" entry for the original film.

If we're unable to verify that they're still eligible to be listed, we will remove them. If you want to avoid this, make sure that the information about the title is current and factual, and remember that we reserve the right to withdraw and modify information at any time at our discretion.

To correct this, you'll need to go back to the title page and use the Edit page button found at the bottom, you can then submit removal requests for the data you've added.

If your title already has an IMDb page, make sure production and award details are accurate and up-to-date. Note: IMDb details can take up to two weeks to appear on your detail page after a title is published.

Interwiki links are hosted in the interwiki table of the MediaWiki database. You can retrieve the interwiki list from the interwikimap property of the siteinfo meta query API, in other words by making an API request likeapi.php?action=query&meta=siteinfo&siprop=interwikimap

Pont pentru administratorii wiki: $wgTranscludeCacheExpiry in your LocalSettings.php should be set if changes in the transcluded wiki are done. Alternatively, you can flush the table transcache on your local wiki.

If you have installed a Wiki family , you can link from an article in English to an article in German (if you have a German project, too). You can set up MediaWiki to show those links in the sidebar, just below the toolbox.

In your filesystem, there is a subfolder of your MediaWiki installation, called "languages". Go there and have a look at Names.php as it contains a list of known languages and their prefixes. E.g. you want to add your German project, search Names.php for "Deutsch" and note the prefix "de".

Now, you can link an article to the same in other languages. Adding [[de:Hauptseite]] on your English Main_Page will create a link "Deutsch" below the toolbox, which leads to the Main_Page of the German wiki (Hauptseite).

Note, that this link is shown in Sidebar's section, only, and not inside of the article. If you want to create a link inside of the text, you have to add a colon previous to the prefix: [[:de:Hauptseite]] or set $wgInterwikiMagic to false.

The following JavaScript code performs the API query to retrieve the interwiki map of an existing wiki, then displays the SQL INSERT statements to fill the interwiki table on a new wiki. You run it for example by injecting the code through your browser's developer tools, or by placing it inside Special:MyPage/skinname.js and previewing.

Wikitext using interwiki links isn't always easily transferable between different wikis because they don't consistently use the same interwiki prefixes, or they might not have them at all.Additionally, interwiki links can sometimes mislead users since they don't know when they're being sent to another site.

You can choose between "extiw" and "external text" CSS classes for links, depending on whether you want them to look the same or different.Using just the interwiki link is easier to type, but copying the URL from the webpage is handy.Templates like w:Template:imdb title can be set up to use either an interwiki link with a parameter like "tt0389790" or "0389790", or an external link with a parameter like one of those or the full URL, making it easier to include IMDb references.

Interwiki links can be configured to point to the same wiki they are being rendered from. For example, mw:Manual:Interwiki/ro points to this page. These links are treated identically to internal links and do show up on Special:WhatLinksHere, appear bold if they are a selflink like the above, appear red if the page doesn't exist, etc.

Oracle Database Appliance shapes define databases with parameters selected specifically to optimize performance on Oracle Database Appliance. In addition, these shapes help you to set up appropriate instance caging and to acquire an appropriate license.

Oracle Database Appliance enables you to consolidate many databases into a single system. Consolidation can minimize idle resources, maximize efficiency, and lower costs. By using instance caging in conjunction with Oracle Database Resource Manager (the Resource Manager), you can provide desired levels of service across multiple instances on a single Oracle Database Appliance.
