Have finally received my rental cheque for April 2012.

Just wondering though that why has this cheque been issued for Rs.33,000

The invoices we had sent to Era, as per the original agreement, should have been for Rs.36,666.

Request some gyan on this please.

Been thinking about this.

Is it possible that the difference (Rs.3,666) between our invoices and their cheque of Rs.33,000 may be on account of TDS deduction?

Had this been clarified in the letter from Era, this question would not have arisen.  However, since the letter says nothing………………….!!
