Morning – and how are your fellow team members?

Behind every successful leaders is a highly effective team, a group of individuals with complementary skills and abilities who communicate well and are working together to achieve a shared goal. Separately they would not achieve the result the group can when functioning as a cohesive whole. In business, as in sport, great teams are not born, they are made. A successful team that that is inspired and valued will feel a greater connection to the Leadership Congress and feel motivated to attend.

That is my mid-term report on all the Ten Groups – None of them is better or poor compared to the other – the challenge is in whether you communicate or not.

Today’s request is that we all ask ourselves what “success’ means to each one of us. As far as successful leadership in a job goes;

·         Join a career and a job whose objectives you identify with and whose success you can enjoy and feel proud of

·         In a new role, make sure you are seen to be looking at a career rather than today’s take-home pay

·         Define a personal and business vision that makes you look forward to going to work

What about daily improvement in your work:

·         Always accept that you could do things better than you are doing at the moment

·         Keep encouraging others to work in the best way possible

In a situation where you have to negotiate –go for a win-win outcome;

·         In a negotiation, look for a solution that will benefit all interested parties. Win/Lose causes resentment mostly.

·         Be ready to give way to minor issues while maintaining what is important to you

Regards and do have a pleasant weekend ahead,
