Good Morning,
What does it take to build a dynamic team?
· Everyone should have a reason to work together in achieving shared goals
· The objectives of the group are mapped out clearly and early and remain accessible to everyone
· Every team member feels valued
· A team is only as strong as its component parts – each team leader should create an environment that allows for personal contribution and development, responsibility and challenge
· Has relationships – a strong team dynamic encourages trust and camaraderie among members
· Focus on communication – Ensure that the same is open, respectful and honest
Now, suppose each of the 10 teams will one day convert into an Investment Club and Business, how will you shape the strategy of each one of them as a leader?
· Establish a vision – have a clear vision, and then effectively communicate to each member what your business stands for and where you are headed
· Model the business plan – clarify the business model and upsell the plan from the outset
· Identify the revenue stream – determine which products and services could act as free ‘bait’ and which will be chargeable ‘hooks’
· Be original – differentiate from competitors and don’t be afraid to break the mould
· Invite feedback – Embrace community feedback, which can inspire ideas and improve products and services offered by the business
To each one of you as an individual “Think not of yourself as the architect of your career but as the sculptor. Expect to have to do a lot of hard hammering and chiseling and scraping and polishing” – by B.C. Forbes, Founder of Forbes Magazine. So how do you plan for the future;
· Visualize the future – create a mental picture of your individual destination. Where are you going and why are you heading there?
· Gather knowledge – Learn from research, talking with other people, reading and having mentors
· Create an action plan – Detail exactly what actions need to be done, by when and with who for you to realize your future.
Attached you will find the articles;

Have a pleasant afternoon,
Dr. Muthee John
