Updates Regarding SRC

Dear People of God,

Greetings.  Hope this email finds you well.  I am happy to inform you all that as indicated in my previous email some developmental activities are completed in SRC.  

1) SRC is mosquito proofed now.  The old nylon mosquito meshes were discarded and aluminium window panes are fixed in the boys and girls dorms and in the two guest rooms.

2) 30 single tier steel cots are ready in our camp site now

3) 8 two tier steel cots are ready now

At present we can use cotton mattress which are available in SRC.  We are planning to buy mattress soon.

I projected the total cost to be 12 lakhs -- taking into account mosquito mesh, making of steel cots, leveling of the ground, paying property taxes, erecting a temporary kitchen etc.  Out of this we have received only 2 lakhs so far.  We need another 10 lakhs to complete the remaining tasks before the Winter LTC in January 2019.  Please uphold this in your prayers and do the needful as our Lord leads.

THE URGENT NEED IS TO PAY THE REMAINING COST FOR MAKING THE COTS AND MOSQUITO MESH IS 1.5 LAKHS.  

I know that is the month of Christmas, and we have a lot of other expenses.  But we also have the responsibility of developing SRC.  We received umpteen complaints from the students about the mosquito menace and other requirements.  That is why we launched on this infrastructural developmental works.  Unless you all lend a helping hand, we who are at the receiving end have to face the wrath of the people who have installed the mosquito mesh and those who are making the cots.'
