Greetings to you in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. I am glad to meet you all through this mail after a long lull.
At the outset, I would like to inform you all that Mr. Peter Jeya Maran is the new Property Chairman and I am in charge of communication regarding the SRC updates and sharing the needs of SRC to our constituency. I am sending this mail on that capacity only.
By God's Grace our Property in Tambaram -- Students Resource Centre (SRC) -- was dedicated on 24th May, 2015 and it is being used by our students and graduates frequently. The students and graduates who use SRC feel that the infrastructure can be improved to make the stay of the campers more comfortable so that serious and useful learning can take place.
As a result the newly constituted SRC Property Committee under the Chairmanship of Mr. Peter Jeya Maran met and decided to implement the following decisions. Making of 35 wooden cots, making the centre mosquito proof, attending to the cracks in the building, levelling of the open ground, creating a pathway, paying the property tax for SRC and some landscaping are some of the major works in the offing. The Property Committee has come out with a tentative budget of about 12 lakhs and will commence the work at the earliest. We need your sincere prayers and support for this.
