Dear People of God,

Greetings to you all and to all your dear and near ones. Hope this mail finds you all in good cheer.

As informed earlier, we had been praying for some of the infrastructural developments in our Students Resource Centre, Tambaram with a tentative budget of 12 lakhs. By God's grace we received 5 lakhs and we had already informed you and sent you photos regarding the work done thus far. The detailed list of work completed is given below. (please refer to our mail dated 27th January, 2019)

1. Fixing Mosquito mesh in both boys and girls dorms

2. 8 two-tier cots in girls dorm (8x2=16 beds)

3. 22 single tier cots in boys dorm

4. Leveling the ground at the back to enable students to play in the evening

5. Fixing of additional lights for better illumination

6. All cracks are fixed

7. Cloth-line to dry washed clothes – one in the open area and one in the second floor

8. Fixing of curtains in the meeting hall and girls dorm for the purpose of privacy

9. Paid land tax for our property (open Land - 16 cents at the rear)

10. Landscaping to some extent

All the above improvements were possible because of your prayers and generous contribution amounting to about 5 lakhs.

Work still pending as on March 31st, 2019 are as follows:

1) Temporary kitchen and dining hall at the rear

2) Anti-termite treatment for our building

3) Attending to some electrical works

4) We have given all the papers tax assessment for our property. (Present building in the front part of 17 cents). .Tambaram Municipality people are yet to fix the property tax. Once the property tax is assessed, we will pay the tax and then only we can submit the plan for our Second Phase (the plan for the Second Phase is ready with us)

By God's sheer grace we received a donation of 7 lakhs from one of our erstwhile students and now settled in the US on 29th of March. We experience the marvelous deeds of our Lord and His timely provision. So we prayerfully commenced the work of the temporary kitchen-cum-dining measuring 20 x 60 feet at the back of our present structure. Our Property Committee members and some of the GCR Committee gathered in SRC and prayed and turned the sod marking the commencement of the kitchen-cum-dining work. Please see the photos attached. The actual masonry work will commence soon and will be completed within a month. Please keep this in your prayers.

Another windfall from our Lord...Another family has donated an LCD Projector along with a screen and it is fixed in SRC. Our students are very happy about this and use the Projector to the maximum extent possible.

We place on record the generosity of both the donors and may God use them for the extension of His Kingdom on this earth -- LCD Projector donor and the donor for the kitchen-cum-dining hall.
