SUNDAY MORNING SERVICE at 9:15am in the main sanctuary. If you didn't catch church on Saturday night, there's a service at 9:15, just before our class.
EQUIP CLASS at 11am in the PCA upper school building. We are currently going through the book for Romans. We've covered Romans 1 – 4 so far. If you want to read ahead, our teacher Matt Kendrick will be taking us through more of Romans 4 & 5 this Sunday.
FELLOWSHIP OF COMFORT A gathering of comfort, prayer and hope for those who have experienced the death of a loved one in the past year. Come to the Fireside room following the 11:00am service. Churchwide event.

For those of you who plan ahead, there's a trip to Boston in April and July 2012. There's also a YS trip to the Amazon in Nov 2012. Contact the YS office to get a jump start on next year.
scripture memory
Here's an encouraging verse to memorize in the next few days as we continue our study through Romans.
Romans 5:1-5
1 Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. 2 Through him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God. 3 Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, 4 and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, 5 and hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.

ICE! At The Gaylord Texan This local resort is home to a temporary ice sculpture exhibit featuring over 2 million pounds of ice all to the theme of Shrek the Halls. A little pricey but a fun event.

scripture memory
As you know, we’re studying the book of Romans in class every week. There’s a ministry tool commonly referred to as the “Romans Road,” which is scripture in the book of Romans that explains salvation. Memorize these verses in order as an easy way to scripturally present salvation to someone.
Romans 6:23
For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 5:8
but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
