Last Sunday of Equip for 2011

This morning I'm still riding the high of watching my alma mater win the 5A state final yesterday but I'm also looking forward to a great day ahead.
Today at 11am we will have our last Equip class of the year. We will be off next Sunday due to Christmas. Last week we opened class by allowing class members to share a verse or passage from where they have been in the Word this past week. We have a great class filled with people who want to grow in their faith and I can't tell you how encouraging that was. Be prepared to do that more! So come to class today for fellowship, solid teaching, an encouraging time.
To cap things off, tonight at Cameron's house (see Evite for details, contact Linda, Elizabeth, or myself if you didn't receive it) we will have our annual Christmas party. Bust out your favorite and/or most repulsive tacky sweater as we will give out a gift card to the winner and bring a white elephant gift ($10 or less) to participate in the classic humor that is the white elephant gift exchange. Past great examples include a traffic cone and last years talking parrot. It all starts at 6:30pm. White elephant will start at 7:30pm.
Hope to see you all in class today. Talk the party up to your friends in class today and others you know outside of Equip.
