Friday:
Equip Softball Playoffs!!!
Equip 3 plays at 7pm
Equip 1 plays at 10pm
It is going to be hot out there! Everyone please hydrate accordingly and do it ahead of time…especially those in the 7pm game. If you are dehydrated and try to just drink liquids at the game, you are too late!!!
To all those not playing, your classmates would love the support tonight so go grab a Route 44 Limeade at Sonic and come cheer us on!
Saturday:
Saturday Night Service (6:00pm – 7:15pm)
Come for a great time of worship and instruction. Jarrett Stephens will be preaching this Saturday night. Neal Jeffrey is on deck for next week.
Sunday:
Equip Class (11:00am)
Hope to see you all there! We will be having a lot of variety over the next 6 weeks as we are in our summer rotation of teachers.
Be sure to check out where we are going to lunch after class as that is always a good chance to meet others and encourage visitors as well.
Sand Volleyball Begins (6:30pm)
Games begin this Sunday at 6:30pm and we have 4 teams!
Equip 1 (Court 1) and Equip 2 (Court 2) play at 6:30pm
Equip 3 (Court 1) and Equip 4 (Court 2) play at 7:30pm
Again, hydrate early and often! Please pay Ashley your $30 ASAP as she paid for all of the teams out of her own pocket!

YS Women's Soak n Float- Thursdays beginning June 30:
Each Thursday beginning June 30 from 2-4 pm, the Young Singles (FEMALES ONLY!!) will relax by Chrissie Dunham's beautiful pool (6400 Meadowview Ct. Plano, TX 75024).
Sand Volleyball- Begins July 10:
The 6x6 sand volleyball season is quickly approaching! Games will be played on Sunday evenings. The cost is $210 per team, and the registration deadline is June 30th. Go to www.psosports.com for more information or talk to Ashley in class this weekend!

VBS in Bonton- July 18-21:

YS Women's Retreat- July 29-30:
Registration will be on Sundays in Opening Assembly starting June 26.

Missions Opportunities
Boston
Trip June 30-July 5 is underway. Be praying for the team that was sent yesterday that they would be united in their efforts to be intentional with their time and see the Lord move in a big way. Pray for the hearts of the people of Boston and Pastor Curtis Cook and his staff at Hope Fellowship.

Vietnam
August 30 – September 8
This is going to be an amazing trip and you won’t want to miss this.
Join Tim Lee, as he and others will have the opportunity to share the gospel. They will be visiting some orphanages and take gifts to the children and try to be an encouragement to the workers. For more details visit Tim Lee’s website www.timlee.org and click on click on Vietnam at the top.

Open Gym (Wednesdays weekly): 7:00pm Bible study. Afterwards everyone plays basketball or volleyball until 9:30pm. You must attend the Bible study and be in class by 7:15 in order to qualify for gym access afterwards. Dave Chadbourne is the teacher and Beth is the director and they do an awesome job. Dallas Life Foundation Homeless Shelter (1-2x/ month): This ministry continues to grow, and the more people who come check it out, the more decide it's a way they'd like to serve! The address is 1100 Cadiz Street in Dallas (just South of the Convention Center & City Hall), but if you'd like to carpool there are always others who are going down. Our upcoming dates are:
Each time we go, the schedule is the same: group (Prestonwood as well as several other churches are represented) will meet down there at 5:45, the service is from 6:00-7:00 (Praise & Worship time followed by preaching by Oscar Castillo), and then there's a little time afterward to pray and encourage the residents. CARES Volunteer Opportunities: These are events that reach out to apartment residents in Plano.
Typically, a small group (2-4) of us come in to serve food so that the existing CARES team can build relationships with the residents.
