The compound Ethane is not available

Was aiming to do an estimation for ethane oxidation, but the compound does not seem to be in the database (can't find it in kegg either)

Would it be possible to add it to the database? is there a reason it's not there?

It was probably missing from metanetx when we updated the database last time.

Sorry, but it will probably take a while until we update again, and adding a single compound is not possible. You can try going down the route of building your own "local cache": https://equilibrator.readthedocs.io/en/latest/local_cache.html

(it's not very simple, but that's the best I can offer).
