Dear fellow eQuilibrator users,

As you might know, eQuilibrator relies on experimental data and there is a community that cares for this data: openTECR. (See https://opentecr.github.io/ )

openTECR is going to have its second curate-athon (and hackathon) this December, again being online and globe-spanning. You will find many people with the same interest in thermodynamics there, some more on the data side, some more into building new stuff. Last year, we had a beautifully diverse set of people around, and all of us worked on what worked best for each of us.

If you want, this year you can shape this event and/or co-host it! I have to reply back to the organizers of the 3rd BioHackathon Germany (https://www.denbi.de/de-nbi-events/1678-biohackathon-germany-3) who will be the project co-leads. And it could be you if you want!

I believe we are speaking of a workload of 2 to 20 hours of preparation, depending on what you would like to do. Same at the hackathon week. It's mostly about speaking to people about their progress and whether they are happy with how it goes, and to invite people to come together and to act as a moderator for these spaces (asynchronously or in real-time).

Is this for you? Just let me know  via rgies...@gmail.com and we will discuss the rest. :)

Thanks and best!
   Robert
