ℹ️ The 5th edition of the European Summer School on Quantum AI is coming — and applications are open! Meet one of the speakers who will be joining us this summer.
🔬 We are honoured to have Professor Angelo Bassi, Full Professor at the Physics Department of the University of Trieste and one of the leading voices in the foundations of quantum mechanics.
📚 With over 150 publications and invitations to present at institutions such as MIT, Harvard, Princeton, Columbia University, and NYU, Angelo is a towering figure in the quantum community. He has spoken at over 70 international conferences, organized 30 of them, and led research projects raising over 7M€.
He completed his PhD in Physics at the University of Trieste, followed by a postdoctoral fellowship at ICTP Trieste, a visiting scientist appointment there, and a Marie Curie Fellowship at Ludwig-Maximilian University of Munich.
Beyond research, Angelo is a passionate science communicator: he was featured in a dedicated profile by the New York Times Magazine (June 2020) and is a regular contributor to La Repubblica, where he writes about Quantum Physics and Quantum Technologies.
