Adding to our lineup: Ilaria Siloi, Staff Researcher at the Università di Padova and computational physicist working at the interface of tensor-network methods, quantum algorithms, and combinatorial optimization. ✨
Ilaria's research journey is a fascinating one: from quantum correlations in molecular nanomagnets during her PhD, to the thermoelectric properties of complex materials at the University of North Texas, to quantum annealing approaches to optimization at the University of Southern California. Since 2022, she has been bringing all these threads together at the University of Padua, developing tensor-network and quantum-inspired methods for combinatorial problems — bridging optimization, quantum circuits, and real-world applications. 👩🏻💻
