[eq-dev] Error depends on sys ?

I use WinXp 32bit and Microsoft visual studio 2008 on Dell Latitude D830 laptop.

 

I downloaded Equalizer version 0.6.  All examples work, except evolve

 

 

For evolve,  the error : R6030  -CRT not initialized

 

What 's the problem ?

 

 

But at my home machine, Vista 32bits, evolve work, but the epoly does not work.

 

I also try those examples on some Vista 64bits machine , none of those example work (either equalizer 0.6 or 0.9)

VS2008 nor Vista is not officially supported, that is, we don't have
an installation where we test it. It works fine on XP32/XP64 using
VS2005.

Maybe somebody on the list can help out? I'm happy to apply any patches.

We use Equalizer with a lot of different OS (XP, Vista, Mac, Linux) and
hardware and do not have minor problems. I just rebuilt the complete
Equalizer-0.6 sources and all the demos with VS2008 and successfully
started eqPly and eVolve with the default-config (no explicit server) on
my Dell Latitutude D620 with Win XP.

In the early times :-), we had some problems when building the binaries
but I do not remember all this issues spontaneous. Maybe you could give
us some more infos? Do you have problems while compiling? Did you even
compile the sources by yourself or did you download the binaries? Do you
start eVolve with a custom config?
