I have gone through and checked the correct windows files and have located this file. I even reinstalled this file for windows. I still have the same issue. Microsoft seems to think its an issue with the Daz files being corrupt or missing. Please help. I love working with Daz and no longer have my older version.

That's the one of the Visual C library files...are you sure that you have the 64 bit version of the 2010 Visual C runtime installed? (Is the msvcp100.dll you found in the system32 folder or the syswow folder?)

As far as I know, the DAZ installer is installing the Visual C++ libraries that are needed for DAZ. So maybe it is worth a try to uninstall DAZ and also the Visual C++ libraries and then install DAZ again.

Msvcp100.dll (Microsoft C Runtime Library) is a Windows system file that contains a set of driver procedures and functions. Therefore, this component ensures the correct and smooth operation of Windows programs. If this file is incorrectly installed, damaged, or missing, the operation of the associated software may be compromised.

To choose the right file, you need to know what kind of software you have - 64- or 32-bit, as well as the language. Accordingly, use 64-bit files for 64-bit programs, and use 32-bit files for 32-bit programs. It is also more practical to download the latest dll files, so you have more functionality.

Now, the most important thing is that you need to register the new Msvcp100.dll file. To do this, select and copy this file to the C: \ Windows \ System32 folder. Next, open a command prompt with administrator rights in any convenient way and enter the command "regsvr32 msvcp100.dll". Press Enter to complete the task and restart your computer.

If you are interested in manually updating device drivers, open the Start menu and select Device Manager. Select and right-click the device you want to update. Next, click Search Automatically for updated driver software. Once the search is complete, click Update driver.

Click Start and then the gear icon or use the Win + I key combination. Next, select the "Update and Security" section and then go to the "Windows Defender'' subsection. There is a checkbox "Windows Defender Offline Scan" in the Windows Defender settings - activate it and click "Scan Now". Then the computer will restart, during which an automatic scan for viruses and their removal will start. Therefore, it is important to save all unsaved data before restarting your computer. Ultimately, you will receive a complete audit report with all the details.

Press the Win + R key combination at the same time. In the Run dialog box, type rstrui and press OK or Enter. This will allow you to open System Restore. In the windows System Restore, click the "Choose a different restore point" option, then click on "Show more restore points" and select the required date to restore Windows 10. Then follow the instructions on the screen. As a result, the computer will restart in normal mode. Moreover, the download will already be with the restored version of Windows and without the error of the msvcp100.dll file.

In this situation, you can use DiskInternals Partition Recovery. The application will professionally recover this data or even a section in perfect quality. With a trio of built-in wizards (Partition Recovery Wizard, NTFS Recovery Wizard, and FAT Recovery Wizard), the recommended utility supports many file systems, including FAT, ReFS, UFS, HFS, ReiserFS, NTFS, Reiser4, XFS, Ext2, Ext3, and Ext4. DiskInternals Partition Recovery has three scanning modes of the disk recovery wizard:

Even with the trial version of DiskInternals Partition Recovery, you have the option to preview files for free before recovering them. Then just buy a license for this application and download the recovered files to another storage device at any time.

Hi,
I'm trying to run WebAccessControlViewer (extracted from urlviewer_forcepoint.zip) on a Windows 2019 server so I can see what URLs are getting blocked.
However - when I run it, I get the following error message
"The code execution cannot proceed because MSVCP100.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may resolve the issue."
So reinstalling isn't an option as it's a stand alone executable. The DLL doesn't appear to exist on the server, so it's not as though I can reregister it.
It works on W10 22H2, and 2012 R2.
What am I missing?
Many thanks.

Download the Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Service Pack 1 Redistributable Package MFC Security Update and run it. This will replace/restore the msvcp100.dll with the most recent copy provided by Microsoft.

Mr or Ms r...@kaufmann.dk is got a point here. The file missing is part of Microsoft Visual C++ library.
Try the solution provided on previous message on this thread, and if that does not solve the issue, please contact the Tech support for data collecting in order to know the exact problem on your device.

I'm trying to open Spriter but its telling me the "MSVCP100.dll" file is missing, it tells me to reinstall the program and when I reinstall it, the same message still pops up, I revised if the program had that file and it doesn't has it, what am I doing wrong?

In the past most PC's already had this DLL installed, but some don't. The easiest solution is to install the free trial of the Adobe creative cloud, as this also installs the needed DLL file. The other option requires more careful steps:

I've been digging at this for days now, I've been through multiple threads on this forum and reddit.

I cant get the software to load, It was working previously and there's been no changes to the pc since that i'm aware of. I have windows 10 64, I have Adobe Cloud installed and I have removed ALL of the visual studio installs and reinstalled each one based on the type of error that's coming up from VCOMP120.DLL missing to the current 0xc000007b, nothing seems to be working.

I am a game development student and have unity and visual studio 2019 installed, I need spriter to work to complete my assessments on 2D animation, any help would be appreciated.

I brought this post to Edgar's attention to see if he has any idea or if he knows what 0xc000007b is and how to fix it. Sorry for the inconvenience. This is a new error message for me. I don't think anyone has ever reported this before as far as I can recall.

There are a few quick things you can try as well, immediately. The following 3 files will make changes to the registry. One of the most common causes for startup issues is the openGL settings. Spriter should automatically disable if there are issues, but it wouldn't hurt to check. In some rare instances, there are issues with it not being on. The third one will reset all settings. To try this, try running Spriter after using each one (don't run them all in a row, and then try to run Spriter at the end).

turn off openGL support
turn on openGL support
reset all settings (including recent files, pro registration, etc)

If none of those work, please try going to Spriter's install directory, and see if there is a file called startuplog.txt, and if so, paste the contents here.

If you're a pro user, we can also provide you with a key for the Steam or non-Steam version (whichever you don't already have), which has a small chance of fixing the issue, without you having to wait to troubleshoot further.

I checked my install and it came back as r11, it was downloaded from the official site.

I've pulled the trigger on Spriter Pro on Steam thinking steam would do the heavy lifting for my pc and install what needs to be installed and where it needs to be, wont even launch... i hit the launch button, it tells me its loading it up then just doesnt.

I have all the c++ installs where they are supposed to be and all the dll files are present, the openGL registry and reset changes have made no difference either.

The only time I recall another customer having so much trouble getting Spriter to start, it turned out they were using an overzealous antivirus suite which was actually quietly preventing the required DLL to actually install when they were installing Visual Studio. I had them pause their anti-virus, install the 32 and 64 bit versions of VS and then Spriter started fine. Unfortunately I have no idea if this would help you in this case. Hopefully Edgar will have other ideas.

I'm only using the windows 10 firewall and virus protection. There's literally nothing on my pc that could have caused the issue, one day its working the next its gone to hell.

I ended up just reformatting my pc with a new version of windows 10, Steam installed Spriter Pro with 2017 versions of the VS c++ redist, even with a new build the app wouldnt launch, I had to uninstall them and install the 2013 versions to get the software to finally work, now on to putting eveything else back onto the pc.

I don't know how difficult it is to create software, I'm a game development student so some day I might find out but this single program has given me more trouble than every other piece of software I've ever encountered, and I got cyberpunk 2077 at launch lol

The program is great when its actually working, but something needs to be done with this 2013 issue.
