Solar-charged public transportation (see
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/solar-charged_vehicle), also called
renewable-energy electric public transport is the solution to climate
change caused by transportation and can help diminishthe congestions
caused by cars (with bicycles -including electric bicycles- and
pedestrians). In an equilibrated and sustainable city less than 30% of
the citizens would use the car.

Now are appearing very important organizations, as REEVA that promotes
DIY solar panels to be used in DIY all-elevtric vehicles (this is, in
vehicles without any combustion engine). And this includes also
electric buses.

I think there would be a mandate all citieswith more than 300,000
inhabitants would have at least one solar-charged electric bus.
