Youth Empowerment is a project which is initiated by AIESEC Sri Lanka together with Sri Lankan Universities to enhance the skills and knowledge of university students and higher educational institutes inorder to strengthen the cultural relationship and international exposure through the AIESEC internship program: 50 foreign undergraduates will be joining with AIESEC to carry out the project in each of the higher educational insititute premises.
AIESEC Youth Empowerment Project
Theme: Youth Empowerment | Skill Development | International Exposure
Objective: Enhancing skills and knowledge of youth
Duration: From January onwards for duration of 1.5 month
Location: University of Moratuwa, University of Kelaniya, University of Sri Jayewardenepura, SLIIT, IIT, Wisdome, Achievers, Imperial, AOD
Program: Sessions on Youth Empowerment | Workshops | Events | community development activities, Global Village
The project will be carried out in 2 phases as mentioned below:
6-8 sessions for about 1000 selected students in each of the universities and institutes
4 events/ workshops in each university for the audience of all the students taking part in this project.
