They tell us that our numbers are falling
(A state that is frankly appalling)
But, if we change our name
(For they say that’s to blame)
We’ll attract many more to our calling

Now whilst recognising these fears
There are members who say, so one hears
Accepting name change temptation
Obscures the great reputation
Built up over twenty –one years

And so we may ask, is it plain
That to change to a name more mundane,
Will rectify the fault
Or will it result
In washing all of our past down the drain?
