Folders not displaying on Dropbox

Hello,

I'm trying to use Epsilon to access a file on my dropbox, but only a very limited set of folders are showing up. If I try to create a new folder it doesn't show up either. 

I'm using the premium version of Epsilon 2.31[1]. There are no special characters in the folder names. I see the same behavior with iA Writer, but having spoken with Dropbox support, they insist it's a problem with the applications.

any ideas?
