Hey

This is to inform you that the first workshop session would be taken up by Abhishek Nayak, Co-Founder and CEO of Gharpay on the 13th Feb.

GharPay is a hot, early stage startup in the space of e-commerce payments that enables cash-based payments. They collect payments from people at their doorstep for products or services that they buy online or on their phone. It leverages the fact that 80% of Indian e-commerce is driven by cash.Gharpay's been making tremendous progress in recent times evidenced by their presence in 860 pincodes and the fact that they have received funding from Sequoia Capital, a top VC firm. They've also been funded by Raju Reddy, Founder of Sierra Atlantic and other private investors.

Abhishek's areas of expertise include Business planning, market research and analysis, financial analysis and recruitment.
The topic of the session would be "Idea to Opportunity" and would cover the broad aspects of evaluating and validating business ideas, preliminary market research, customer analyses etc. It would be intended at assisting the attendees with progressing from the idea stage to implementation.

Time: 5:00 p.m. ( Please arrive on time)
Venue: LTC 5103


The session would be interactive and the teams would be expected to participate actively. Please note that attendance is mandatory and every team must be represented by at-least two members. Please confirm your attendance by replying on this thread.
