Time sensitive items

Greetings to all,

I would like to thank Tesfaye for creating this forum. It is looking
professional and thanks to all of you for joining in record time. It
maybe arbitrary but I think 18 is a critical mass and we can move a
mountain if each of us take a spoon deep at it.

For now we are rated "Activity Level: low". This is typical of
physicists, deep thinkers. I hope that soon our rating will change to
"Live". To quick off the discussion here are a few suggestions.
What do we need to do?
1- We need to generate constructive comments to strengthen the
concept. Perhaps identify someone, could be a volunteer, to follow the
discussion and come up with a summary that we can forward to Dr.
Masresha and Co in Ethiopia. We may need to set a timetable for that.
Let's say in 2 weeks time.
We can also invite Masresha to the group and he can run with the raw
ideas and digest them himself...
2- We set a goal for the $X amount we want to raise within a month and
come up with a plan to achieve that.
We can divide X equally among members of this discussion group.
(For example $200x20= $4,000)
Or we can each pledge what we can and try to reach some amount
between $2,000, and $4,000.

Any other suggestion?

I take it the formation of Ethiopia National Academy of Arts and Sciences is proposed as topic for discussion on EPS-NA forum. If that is the case perhaps it would be good to invite Masresha one of the initiators to give background information and see how EPS-NA would contribute to this end. Before I proceed I need confirmation from the moderators.

This is an excellent suggestion. I second it. Tesfaye Kidane our VP/EPS-NA is the moderator. I think he is reading this.I will cc this message to him just in case.
