I'm afraid I'm going to have to bow out of a management role, due to overwhelming work and family issues. I'm really sorry but I can't seem to catch a break with the family issues. (Can't use freelancers for that, unfortunately...)
Maybe one or two of the others who expressed interest can step up? Erik? Matthew?
Thanks,
Tina

So true. Keep in touch.

All sounds fine to me. I think it would be good to have Pablo
Defendini on some time but I've never been able to come up with a
topic; perhaps on use of Coda and his approach to ebooks as websites.
Strahinja Markovic won't be able to tell me if he's on for Wednesday
next until Monday evening.

I just twigged that Wednesday next is the last of the month. I don't
see it on the #ePrdctn calendar.
What would you like me to do.

Subject: Re: #ePrdctn Hour planning
Hey all:
I'm happy to help in any way, but I can't take on the full management
and scheduling of this. I have a huge metadata project for our entire
list on top of my eBook production work (and helping with a transition
to XML workflow), and it leaves me little time for much else.
Here's my thoughts on some future guests:
@amarie is always good for anything related to Adobe products. Anyone
interested in the Kindle plugin for ID?
@liza Video in ePUB? Anything she wants to talk about? I know she is a
busy person, but she would be a great guest.
Once someone is up to speed on ePUB 3.0, it would be great to have a
briefing session to introduce all the changes.
Any interest in a session on font availability/use/licensing?
@desi_leyba of Monotype could probably lead one.
What about someone from @Aldiko talking about their eBook apps? Maybe
not so much #ePrdctn, but might be of interest.
@draccah or someone from her team at SourceBooks on how they integrate
digital into their overall production process
Matthew
