Hi there - you've received this invitation to the #ePrdctn Google
Group because you expressed interest in helping to schedule and host
future #ePrdctn Hours on Twitter.
The idea is that members can fill in the calendar with a speaker and
then go ahead and host it (do the introductions). There is a note at
the top of the discussion page that details Lindsey’s (@crych)
approach to hosting the hour. We also want to support his philosophy
that we don’t do promos or ask people to speak about things they
normally get paid for (keep it more informational than technical so to
speak). Please see the discussion called "Lindsey's tips for hosts to
send to presenters" for more information.
A few of us got this Google Group set up and now the idea is to turn
this into something “self-running” - when people have a chance/
interest to schedule a speaker they’ll do so, and if there’s enough
members then perhaps there will be enough days being filled. The days
that don’t get filled will just be blank, but we’ll always have the
Roundtable (open discussion) on the last Wednesday of the month.
FYI - Most of the members have set their email settings to "No Email"
and come check the page for new messages as they have time. If you
have any immediate questions, please email one of us directly.
Here's the link to the #ePrdctn calendar that you can share on
Twitter. You'll receive a separate invitation to be able to edit it
yourselves:
