I am quite new to the genetic programming tool but i plan to use it in
my future thesis, therefore i was looking for some software.
Looking to this program what caught my attention was the CFG feature
but it seems it doesn't have a steady state option. Is it on purpose
or just a future step? In case it is on purpose can somebody suggest
any paper for the reasons.
Thank you for the attention and i hope the question is not silly.

Welcome to the GP field. I hope you find EpochX useful.

A steady state approach is not currently supported by EpochX. This is
a limitation rather than by design, but the main algorithm used is
primarily based upon the algorithm as Koza used it, and his research
primarily used a generational strategy. This is adequate in most
cases. However, the next major release of EpochX will contain support
for steady state.
