Hi Everyone,
Just reminding you about tomorrow's FOOD 3 gathering at Elysian Park (details below).....
____________________________________________________________________________________________________________
In conjunction with
EPMoA,
the third FOOD event,
Rainbow-Coloured Repast, is scheduled for this
Sunday November 14 from
12 - 2pm @ Elysian Park and will be a recreation
of artist Tessa Laird's FOOD gathering that was staged in Auckland, New
Zealand on November 6th, 2010.
Tessa Laird is an artist and writer living in Auckland, New Zealand.
She is currently working towards a doctorate of fine arts, looking at
color as the raw material of (r)evolution.
"In a similar vein to Sophie Calle's infamous colour coded diet for a
week, but more in the spirit of The Source Family and their
rainbow-coloured salad than control freak artists (yeah, right!) I
want to propose a Rainbow-Coloured Repast to be shared by friends.
Come, realign your chakras and your tastebuds at one and the same
time!
Six artists have been selected to prepare and share a dish in a
particular hue. I say six because we are operating under the current
assumption that Issac Newton's insertion of Indigo into the spectrum
was humbug. So, that means a dish each in Red, Orange, Yellow, Green,
Blue and Purple"
