We are going to try to get the full exhibition installed this Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Luke won't be around on Saturday or Sunday. I oringally thought I would be around this weekend but I might not be either. I will let you know what time we will be there soon.

I wont be able to come in untill friday, I will bring the slide projector then, though i won't have the slides until next week, but i will take them in to LACE my self as soon as i have them

I won't be able to go to LACE till Friday either, but I'll work on combining films and authoring DVDs till then.  And I can help install over the weekend too.  So we can just figure out what else needs to be done on Friday when we're all there and those who can be there over the weekend can finish installing what remains.   yah?

Oh, and has anyone asked Lace if they have mounting hardware for the slide projector?  If it can wait till Friday, I could install it then and paint out the white projection size.

Hey,
I was at LACE all day on Sunday painting.  I didn't finish (and I wasn't happy with some of the palm trees, so I'm going to paint over them).  I can finish the mural this weekend.  I was going to try to come in on Wednesday, but I'm going to go up to school to work on the Tree instead.  I can't come in on Thursday either, but I can work on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.  Maybe we'll have to do this in two stages- Paul and Luke can head up the week, and Amy/Helga/Cindy/and I can work on the weekend finishing things.

What time is everyone going to be at LACE tomorrow?  I won't be able to get there before 1pm...just wanted to make sure we can all touch basis and transfer jobs, update, regroup before the weekend.

I don't think i'm going to go to LACE tomorrow, I still need to work on the tree.  Monday's a national holiday!  So no school/work.  I'm going to spend time Sat/Sun/Mon at LACE and finishing the tree.  I have a key.  Call me or text me if you need to get in touch, as I've been terrible with email lately.

Hey Akina,

Think its only me and you tomorrow.  What time will you be at LACE?  I was going to go there between 12:30 and 1pm.  I can help you unload stuff from your car too.  And you can just bring me your movie files then. 

Luke was going to work on the wall map today and what we need to work on tomorrow is:
-Finishing mural
-Sticking EPMoA sign letters to the wall
-painting blackboard
-finishing the monitor/DVD set-up

Do you have a way of transporting the couch to LACE?

I can probably fit my couch into my car.  I'm still working on the trees.  I need to work on those this weekend.  Do you have keys to LACE? Hrmmm maybe I'll go in to work on the mural a little earlier, so I can go to Valencia and work on the trees in the afternoon...

Hi Akina,

I don't have keys to LACE and I'll need help with the EPMoA sign.  If you're gonna go earlier and plan on leaving before 1pm, I guess I won't go tomorrow and just plan to be there all day/night Sunday.  But I really need your films before Sunday so I can at least work on those tomorrow...I work all day Mon and Tues and will have less time to get them finished then.

Aahhh, so much to do, so little time!  I was hoping to get to Valencia to work on the trees, because I keep having to wait for the paper mache to dry, and its elongating the process.  I can go to LACE in the morning, to make sure I have enough time for the mural, help you put up the sign when you get there, around 12;30-1pm, and hand off the videos then.  Would that work out?

Yup!  I did another coat on the blackboard, we put up the EPMoA sign, and I set up all the monitors/DVD players. There's a few audio things we still need that I won't be able to get from their attic till Monday.  Akina worked on the mural, but left before me to work on the tree, so I have the keys.  I bought coffee and the bulletin board and will be at LACE at 11am, but I'm not staying for too long cause I need to work on the DVDs.  So I'll pass on the keys to whoever plans on staying the longest tomorrow. 

Luke, is there any chance you can send me the films you said you wanted included in the Video line-up.  I will need it by tomorrow, if possible. 

Also, I was wondering about the maps for the ranger desk - are we having LACE print them so we have a stack of each map for visitors to take?  We should probably get this done Monday...

We need to locate one more pair of head phones. There are two pair upstairs by the carpets, but

they are hooked in to a pedestal.

i'll be in around 4 pm, planning on staying til late / til stuff feels ready...
an extra pair of eyes and hands would be helpful im sure, but i can only think of a few specific things that i was going to do for the reading room area / set up the web kiosk thing... nothing major...!

I'm at work now till 6pm and can probably get there by 7ish depending on traffic...Luke, I'll give you a call when I leave work to see if you're still there and need a hand.  I was going to drop by anyway to set up the last DVD and make sure it works alright. 

Also, can you guys who are there today ask Robert for another headphone set and if they have coffee cups we can use for our coffee station - if they don't have headphones, let me know before 6pm, so I can snatch a pair from work.  And if they don't have paper cups I can get some.  I couldn't put the DVD players between the monitors as originally planned cause the DVDs fall out of the player and they didn't have long enough audio cables for the headphone amps to be between the monitors (I can bring longer cables from work).  

And I got the LCD monitor and computer going...Luke, there's a lot of stuff on that computer that needs to be cleared too. 

ALSO, what are we doing in terms of maps for the info desk...should we send files to LACE to print some out or should we just print up ones ourselves? 

I brought down the bean bags if you guys want to decide yes/no?
