Socratus,
is the said expansion in terms of space that never existed before but
is now being created in all directions as a sphere thus letting the
universe to being an abstract sphere of variable R radius? if yes,
then R grows only because space of radius R+r already exists to make
it possible for R to grow to R+e:e<r at any time t. In that case no
new space is being created. What is probably happening is reach out of
light which is traveling at light speed to uncover already existing
space! The more distance light covers the more the particles existing
will come to light.
