Margot is at home for now and to see the gastroenteroligist on Friday.  She is in constant pain and has lots of vomiting, despite the medications to curb these symtoms.  I am sure that they would be more than happy to have her back in the hospital, but she is fighting it with all she has.  Wish I had more optimistic news... however it looks like for the time being, she is just putting off surgery. 
 
Please keep her in your prayers, as she really needs them right now.

Today Margot saw the Internist.  An appointment with a surgeon is being made as soon as the infection and inflammation is under control. which will hopefully be by mid week.  Until then, antibiotics, pain medication and soft diet as tolerated. They took blood today to see how the infection is doing and she will talk to them the first of the week.

It is diverticulitis, needs surgery to remove part of her colon.  Not a good thing.... we find out tomorrow if they will let her wait until the next flair up.  Katrina
