Dear fellow epidemiologists,

EPIDEMIOLOGIC.org is pleased to announce the premiere of the new EPIDEMIOLOGY FORUM as a way to further foster an online epidemiology community to share questions, debates, and collaborations. We have devoted tremendous effort to bring you a highly advanced and user-friendly automated forum.

As examples of the tremendous power of online communities, it is important to note that famous groundbreaking innovations such as the universal HTML webpages on the Internet, the Unix/ Linux systems, and the omnipresent global email systems -- all emerged from open collaborations of online science communities.

We believe building an online support community and a cadre of  collaborating epidemiologists can not only have the potential to improve research, but also advance the field of epidemiology. Therefore, we strongly encourage and appreciate your contributions to such an epidemiology community.

We recommend readers bookmark the website to regularly explore the latest discussions in the forum and the general weblog. All readers may send feedback to  Edi...@Epidemiologic.org with any suggestions.

As always, we appreciate and encourage readers to forward this email and pass the word to fellow colleagues. (To join the regular Epidemiologic.org mailing list, click here)

Thank you.
