H-index calculator of individual scientist impact

Dear readers,

 

This week, EPIDEMIOLOGIC.org is pleased to announce another new researcher feature: an online calculator of the H-index, a new index that measures an individual scientist's impact and influence. The H-index was even featured in a recent article in Nature, which referred to the H-index as a "fair ranking of scientists" (read more in article below). Also notably, the H-index calculator directly taps into the enormous database of Google Scholar.
