Colleagues:
We have settled on a Shands at the University of Florida, Inpatient EPIC, Go-Live date. We will convert from Seimens to EPIC on May 14 at 0700.
Our hospital and medical staff leadership are comfortable that we will be adequately prepared for the May startup.
In preparation for the Go-Live, we must complete many tasks, the foremost being provider training in the use of the EPIC system and the completion of our Order Sets. We count on you to obtain the necessary training and, if asked, to assist in Order Set development and proofing.
