the following is a list of vigils that will be held to protest the execution scheduled on Tuesday, May 6 at 7 pm of William Lynd.

Please try to go to one of the statewide vigils. If you are planning
on having a vigil and it is not listed, please contact us. Thank you.

If Lynd should receive a stay, we will call off vigils, but please plan for now to join a vigil.

Lynd is the first prisoner in the US scheduled to be executed.

Tuesday, May 6
a)Jackson - Death Row - 6:30pm

Directions:
On I-75, take exit 201 and turn east off of the exit ramp (left if
you're heading south)
Go one light down and turn left - the entrance is very close to the
prison and right off the main road.
There are two truck stops on the opposite side from the prison just
off the interstate.
When you arrive on the site, you will be asked if you are "for"
or "against" the execution and directed to the appropriate side. They
usually give out a green armband for you to wear.
Note you'll be on the grounds of the prison close to the highway,
which is far from the prison itself (not in sight).

It's best to bring as little as possible. Signs are OK.
