Hi Sir/Mam, Good Day. I just want to ask for your help regarding the problems I’ve encountered on my Epanet hydraulic model. As a beginner of the epanet program, I just want to ask for some help and input on how to make my model run successfully. Actually my problem is just some “PUMP are closed because cannot deliver head”.

For isolation purpose to see if my base demand are causing the error (maybe it’s too high) 1. I tried to minimize my BASE DEMAND to just one (1) household per node or Base Demand of 0.0089 (computed from a 23 cubic meter / month / household). But, same problem were occurred.

2. I also tried experimenting by putting RESERVOIR TOTAL HEAD of ZERO and below (neg value) and ZERO and above (pos. value, like 50 m or up to 100 m something like that) But errors are still the same (“PUMP are closed because cannot deliver head”). What seems to be the problem? Please help. Thanks.

Facts/Settings:

1. FLOW = lps

2. Pipe Roughness = 150

3. Headloss Formula = HW

4. Curve Type = PUMP, 3 point curve

5. I have One (1) Reservoir/ Tank w/ 3 booster pump

6. With seven (7) pumping station using submersible pump.
