Export format types

Has there been consideration of offering other export format types beyond MBOX and EML? I work for a county archive and as a government institution we are often responding to public records requests. It would be handy if we could export emails as PDF files (especially redacted messages).  Our IT would never approve using the Discovery module in ePADD due to their specific security protocols. We would be using ePADD and emailchemy for appraisal and some processing, but for preservation, those files will be transferred to Preservica (which doesn't render MBOX or EML files). So if we need to view emails after appraisal and processing we would need to download those messages again to ePADD to view them which is a bit labor intensive.

Hi Nikki,

Thank you for reaching out with this question. That’s an excellent suggestion and I’m sure that many other users would also appreciate the option to export either an entire collection or selected messages in PDF format. Currently the ePADD project does not have funding to pursue development of significant new features, but please consider creating an “enhancement request” ticket on our Github repository. It’s helpful to have these suggestions documented there.
