In order to learn a second language, you need to read a “how-to-learn” book  first

Can self-books help us to learn English in an easier way or it is only a commercial promotion? I read some about it, and I realized that they may be useful but are not essential.

Going through the main idea, I do not consider that “how-to-learn”    books should be the first step in the learning process of a language. Mainly, because it could  be hard to read and make you get depressed or bored.

And it is the last thing that you need in the learning process.

On the other hand, these kind of books are other tool  to improve  our skills. But only  when you have at least a basic knowledge about  the particular language. They tell us a range of tips, strategies to organize our time and study. Besides you can find other points of view about mistakes as a part of research your target.

In conclusion,  all books are an opportunity to know ideas, even  if you are against. In this case, I feel that this books are not appropriate to  beginners.
