Self-help books

It is said that Spanish people have really difficulties to learn foreign languages. However Spanish people think that their level is high, although it is not true, in fact their level is lower than other European countries. In order to solve it, there are a lot of self help books which give you some techniques and advices to get the desired level. And the question is the following; can this kind of books help us to improve our English level?

To start with, it seems that these books put our mind in the right way to learn English: they don’t teach us English, or the language that we are learning, they teach us different ways or methods to be fluent in the language we are learning. For instance, the books show us that taking small steps is better that doing all at once, that the repetition is the key of learning a language.

At the same time, the books show us the way we can create an effective mental process to achieve our goal, learning English, in an easy and funny way. However, after reading those books we can realize that the process to learn foreign languages demands effort, perseverance and devotion because if we want to be fluent we will have to spend time every day thinking, reading, speaking and so on.

In conclusion those books can help people to take up learning languages in a positive way thinking that they can do it, even old people, and stopping the idea that it is too hard and difficult, but people must be willing to devote time every day in their live if they want to be fluent.

WHERE IS THE PARAGRAPH STATING SOMETHING OPPOSITE TO YOUR POINT OF VIEW?

THIS LOOKS MORE LIKE A REVIEW ARTICLE THAN AN OPINION ESSAY... NO PERSONAL OPINION IN THE LAST PARAGRAPH EITHER
