to EOI WRITING COMPOSITIONS NA1 NA2
It is said that How-to-learn books are available all around the world
in order to learn and improve a second language. The aim of this
writing is to considered different points for and against these
learning books.
How-to-learn books give to the readers some commandments, techniques
and steps. This is particularly helpful because the reader can choose
the best way of learning depending on their abilities and goals. A
further positive aspect is that his kind of books encourages your
motivation showing you optimistic points of learning a new language.
The authors use some sentences such as ‘the more you practise, the
better you get’ or ‘I must believe it before I see it’ to motivate
their readers.
In contrast, many people argue that following step by step all given
recommendations is difficult. This is due to the fact that people
don’t have enough time to practise day by day what is nowadays more
and more complicated. In addition, we can say that reading how-to-
learn books don’t help you to realize what mistakes you do frequently
what is a disadvantage of learning on your own.
Taking all this into consideration, we think how-to-learn books are
useful for taking tips and techniques to learn but these books are
useless if you don’t realize about mistakes you make.
