Dear TIC teachers, educators, and friends,

Happy trout release season! All trout release permits that were already submitted have been approved. Please remember that you must have a permit to release fish into any body of water. Be sure to contact me ASAP if you still need help completing a permit request.

In this newsletter we have some helpful tips for trout releases, and guidance for trout care on breaks. As you prepare for trout releases, please make sure that your students are able to identify possible risks, including poison ivy and ticks.
