Hey guys,

So I finally had a bit of time at work today to write up an OOC post about the OG plot and whether we might want to rethink it - I've put it up on the community because I figured it might be the best way to handle it if any discussion threads break off from one another.

In addition to this, I'd be happy to throw up a GP if people are interested, though opinions on what would be the most fun/draw the most people would be appreciated. I've come up with:

-another poker thread
-generic partay (is it any of the OG's birthdays around now?)
-doors locked down (and possibly random pairings of people stuck in rooms together?)

but am happy to take suggestions!

I know it's been quiet lately but I'd really like to help get things back up and running, so if there's anything I can do or any logs people would like me to write, let me know!

I'm all for a GP. Plotting aside, I just like tagging.

Lockdown at a party? Party in a room that suddenly divides in x equal
parts and people just happen to be stuck together? I like forcing pups
to interact, because that way we might come up with new
plots/ideas/things that we did not expect. Plus I have very unsocial
pups (for two very different reasons) that need nudges to interact
with the plebs. :D

I agree, I quite like tagging myself. :)

I like the lockdown idea - any suggestions for a room that might do that to them? Or maybe the holodeck could malfunction and trap them in small sections/different scenarios? Hmm...

I like the holodeck malfunctioning idea to pair people off, but the science of it makes my brain hurt even more than usual (so many people in so small a location, not aware of each other and yet not bumping into each other? how do holodecks even work? etc - give me holobands any day, those I get, it's all in the mind). However, we could say screw the science and do that anyway! Or just have people be locked up in random rooms all over the station, because all the locks have gone on and won't budge?

If we somehow want to blame whatever happens on Zoe and Topher, you have my blessing for my little hacker. People can come yell at her afterwards.

It's science fiction? I think we can bend the laws of physics a bit for RP purposes... Or am I treading dangerous territory? ;)

I approve of any idea, though, as long as it leads to funtimes :D

Ugh, hey sorry for basically being incommunicado. My life has taken a turn for the hot mess.

Anyway, I also very much like the idea of forced interaction because that'll shove Rat forward.

According to some very quick internet reading, apparently the holodeck in Star Trek can create individual environments for multiple people at once as long as there's at least 2 meters between them? Because Science, I don't know, *handwaves*. And it gives small cues (force fields, beeps, that sort of thing) if you're getting too close to walls/other people, so I guess we could say it throws up random force fields with 2-3 people in each 'pod' and within that pod there's potential for it to at least look like they're in a fully-immersive environment. And if people run around too much they can run into walls and fall over for Comedy.
