[EOF] Abed announcement and IG-time-related suggestion

Hey guys!

So the log is faaar from done, but as of August 9, IG (aka four days after the OG arrived), Abed has been killed by Hannibal for figuring out who he is. Your characters might or might not have eaten bits of him; best ask Tal about that! (We are currently August 12, IG.)

On the topic of IG time! How would you feel if we made sure to write the IG date in every one of our posts? So we have a better sense of what happens when, now that we've dissociated ourselves from real time. I know I'm already confused, and we've barely just got started. ;)

Only those who eat in private with Hannibal will have eaten Abed. So,
anyone who's friendly with him, he would have invited.

With all the vampires and whatnots he's hesitant to serve up human in
the main hall. Smart boy aint he.

That is, if Hannibal would have invited him. Joel would obvi know it's peeeeople.

I don't think he would have. Upstairs he had the excuse of 'meat is meat' and it's edible so stop complaining. There was a (fragile) understanding, or at least, Joel didn't tell people that food was people. Downstairs, there is no such excuse, as the replicators are in order and manage to give them enough to eat. So to give Joel human meat now would be to tempt fate in a way Hannibal wouldn't. The only way he would was if the aim was to kill him and he would either succeed and live, or not succeed and die. Which is a good plot, I'd say, but a little too early. :D I want my Hannie alive for now. ... Maybe later? :D

Yes, thank you. We don't need a reminder of /that/. ;D And all the more reason to keep the amount of people such as Spike to a minimum.

I've realised something about Spike incidentally. He will have actually called Hannibal 'Lecter' in private on a habitual basis - not because he necessarily knows who he is (I personally think he'd've figured it out once he saw Cpt America et all downstairs, but that's up to you, Tal so let me know) but he _will_ have called him that just because Lecter is a famous pop-culture cannibal in his universe and Spike, like every Whedon character, is all about the cult references.

He also makes the teeth-sucking sound from Silence of the Lambs sometimes for comedic effect, which should be somewhat confusing for folk, unless anyone would recognise it... but y'know, Spike. That might have NOTHING to do with Hannibal.

Hahahah! If you think he figures it out, go ahead. I assume he keeps it to himself. And well, Hannibal will deny it when asked. Fun times all around when he's discovered eventually and Spike can say 'oh yeah, that. knew that. duh.'

 

Silence of the lambs noises will mean absolutely nothing to him. Though he'll likely understand it's a reference somehow.

 

Hannie asks if you're aiming to keep Spike. He's rather starting to want to kill him.
